Position description
Position Summary
The Program Director oversees and ensures a consistent and quality program for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities under the oversight of the Executive Director. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations, including record keeping, staff team supervision and management, including the Program Supervisor. Candidate must be a self-starter with highly meticulous organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexible and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced, growing organization. Able to engage and interface with others is mandatory.
Duties
-Create and implement monthly calendar and program curriculum
-Ensure maintenance of standards and adherence to DDD policies
-Recruitment and retention of direct care team
-Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, program documentation, individual support plans, service authorizations, and member billing
-Participate in support plan meetings for individuals served
-Program event planning for individuals served
-Rotation in ratio as needed
-Oversee vehiucle fleet maintenance
Qualifications
Qualifications
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (3+ years)
-Experience managing care teams, preferably direct support professionals (2+ years)
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Qualifications
-CPR & First Aid Certification
-Article 9 Certification
-Preventing Abuse. Neglect, and Exploitation Certification
