Set the vision for YNPN Phoenix and ensure that our strategic missions are aligned. Coordinate with committee chairs to work towards our shared goals.  This role also includes building strategic partnerships and coordinating recruitment for future board roles.  

• Partner with Vice President on leading strategic planning for the organization
• Ensure effective communication with all committees on the board
• Engage the whole board in the activities of my committee
• Work in partnership with the executive committee on ensuring our objectives are met
• Always ensure succession planning is in mind during activities throughout the year

Skills needed for this position: strong relationship building skills, personable, approachable, adaptable to change, ability to “see the big picture” and think about the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization, ability to multitask and strategize on multiple projects at once, strong public speaking skills, ability to turn the board’s passion into action
