The YNPN Phoenix Board of Directors serves as the leadership for the organization, managing much of the day-to-day operations in an all-volunteer capacity. We welcome individuals passionate about our mission, whether they are young in their careers, skillsets, or new to the nonprofit sector. Board members commit to a 2-year term, actively participating in quarterly meetings, serving on at least one committee, attending bi-annual retreats, and supporting 75% of our programs and events. Members are also expected to fulfill a $500 give/get commitment through donations, referrals, or sponsorships, and represent YNPN Phoenix in the community. This role provides a valuable opportunity for professional growth in a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact.

YNPN Phoenix is seeking individuals with diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and experiences to join our Board of Directors. While previous board or nonprofit experience is not required, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about our mission and eager to grow both personally and professionally through board service. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, a commitment to community involvement, and the ability to manage time effectively to meet the demands of the role. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate leadership potential, strategic thinking, and a willingness to engage fully in Board activities, including meeting attendance, committee work, and event participation. Those with experience in fundraising, marketing, or program development are especially encouraged to apply.
