Join Our Board: Be a Catalyst for Holistic Health Advancement

The Foundation for PIHMA Research & Education is actively seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to fund and support research, education, and community outreach in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy—fostering greater public awareness and access to these time-honored healing modalities.

About the Foundation

Since our incorporation in 2001, the Foundation has played a pivotal role in advancing integrative medicine through:

  • Research in acupuncture and homeopathy, including oversight via our Institutional Research Board (IRB).
  • The development of the National Library of Traditional Medicine—a growing resource that preserves the legacy of holistic health education.
  • Scholarships, public education, and nonprofit clinical care to serve underserved populations.
  • Strategic partnerships with PIHMA and the American Medical College of Homeopathy.

Board Member Responsibilities

Board Members help shape the vision, integrity, and impact of the Foundation. Core responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Guidance: Provide insight and leadership to support the Foundation’s mission and growth.
  • Fundraising & Outreach: Assist in developing partnerships, securing donations, and planning fundraising events (e.g., Celebrity Chef Fundraiser, Author’s Series).
  • Marketing & Communications: Help amplify our message through community engagement, social media, and advocacy.
  • Financial Oversight: Contribute to fiscal health through responsible governance and budget review.
