Public Allies Arizona kicks off the 2022-23 program year, welcoming 16 emerging leaders in Phoenix and Tucson
October 19, 2022 – The ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation is pleased to announce the launch of the 17th year of its Public Allies Arizona program. The Phoenix and Tucson cohorts include 16 emerging leaders.
During the program, they develop leadership skills, gain professional experience with a placement at a nonprofit or public organization, and make lasting connections in the community and with their cohort. Allies are passionate individuals interested in making a positive impact in their community.
The Allies and their placements include:

Public Allies Arizona cultivates emerging leaders in the Phoenix and Tucson communities through our signature 10-month AmeriCorps program. We believe that leadership is for everyone and that meaningful, lasting change happens when individuals step up, take responsibility and work together.
Our program provides paid nonprofit internships with Partner Organizations, empowering Allies from all backgrounds and experiences—no ASU affiliation required—to make a tangible impact in their communities.
