Phoenix Magazine featured seven simple and not-so-simple steps on how to be a “good Phoenician,” all of which will help you get involved in the place you call home, and get a little something back in return.
Robert F. Ashcraft, Ph.D., executive director of the ASU Lodestar Center and Saguaro Professor of Civic Enterprise, was asked by the magazine for his thoughts on the importance of giving back, saying, “The giving of time, money and energy is a marriage of sorts. If it’s aligned with the wrong mission, you don’t receive [much in return].”
